Perge Ancient City
The ruins of Perge — the ancient capital of Pamphylia — are well preserved, with an amphitheater, colonnades, and an acropolis. There are very few information boards, so a guide is well advised to better understand the historical context. Some guided tours also offer a visit to Aspendos or Manavgat.
With its 13 different galleries on the ancient history and archaeological discovery of the region, the Antalya Museum houses over 12,000 artefacts from the Neolithic Age to the Roman Empire. Consider spending half a day to see it all, or take a guided tour to find out more.
Located in the midst of greenery, the Kursunlu Waterfall is a natural oasis that contains a forest, turquoise lagoons, and of course, waterfalls. Many guided tours offer a visit to the waterfalls, often followed by a visit to the ruins of Side or Aspendos.
Nestled between the clear sea and the Taurus Mountains, this pretty beach of golden sand is ideal for families. Vendors offer ice cream or drinks on site, and there are changing rooms as well. The beach is accessible by bus or you can also come on a guided excursion.
Located next to Konyaaltı Beach, this massive aquarium offers a wide variety of marine life — clearly visible in the 131-meter viewing tunnel. The resort is also home to "Snow World" (where you will find real snowballs), an ice museum, and an "XD Cinema" experience.
